KAW's Mod Steward

Be ready before you join.

The shared server requires the exact approved mod pack and versions. KAW’s Mod Steward is the source of truth for the shared list; it keeps console-safe content separate from PC-only experiments.

Current shared-pack target

FS25 · Alma, Missouri · Release 2026.10.25.1

Use the server’s approved list in Farming Simulator’s in-game ModHub. Do not add optional PC mods to the shared server setup unless staff have approved a pack release.

Ask for the approved mod list
01 / CONSOLE

Use in-game ModHub

Install only the staff-approved shared mods available for your console. A mod that is PC-only cannot be made usable on console by a website.

02 / PC & MAC

Match the release

Keep the shared pack exact. Optional PC-only mods belong in a separate single-player or private testing setup, never the crossplay server pack.

03 / UPDATE DAY

Check before joining

When a new release is announced, update only the listed mods, restart your game, and report any mismatch through Discord before retrying.

Console: simplest safe route

  1. Check the KAW’s Discord announcement for the current pack release before changing anything.
  2. Update Farming Simulator 25 through your PlayStation or Xbox system updates, then fully close and reopen the game.
  3. From the game’s main menu, open Downloadable Content to use the official in-game ModHub.
  4. Search each approved mod by its exact name. Install only mods that ModHub offers on your console.
  5. Open Multiplayer, find KAW’s Farming Playground 1, and review the required-mod screen. Download any listed approved mod if the game offers it.
  6. Restart the game once after a batch of mod updates, then join. If a mismatch remains, open a Mod support ticket before installing anything else.

PC & Mac: match exactly

  1. Update FS25 in Steam, Epic, or your game launcher before opening it.
  2. Check the announced KAW’s shared-pack release in Discord.
  3. Use the in-game ModHub and the multiplayer required-mod prompt first; it is the safest way to match official shared content.
  4. Do not replace server-required files with similarly named downloads from third-party sites.
  5. Keep optional/scripted PC mods out of the shared setup. Use a separate single-player/testing folder or profile for those.
  6. Restart FS25 and join through Multiplayer. Send the exact error text and mod name in a Mod support ticket if it still fails.

Best practices for everyone

  1. Update only when KAW’s staff announces a pack release—no surprise updates during an active farm session.
  2. Take a screenshot of any mismatch screen before changing files or uninstalling mods.
  3. Never use a “mod pack” from an unofficial download site to access this crossplay server.
  4. For a new mod request, send the official GIANTS ModHub link; staff checks crossplay availability, dependencies, and save risk first.
Why this matters: a shared multiplayer session needs matching server-required mods. GIANTS tests ModHub content and only console-compliant mods proceed through console testing; scripts are not allowed on console mods. Read GIANTS’ explanation.

Live automated checks will appear here after the Fragnet server API has a valid public endpoint. Until then, Discord announcements and the approved pack release remain the operational source of truth.
